The PurpleHull Pea Festival has become something of a homecoming for many who grew up in Emerson and the surrounding communities.

At the 2014 festival, the Emerson High class of 1964 will be attending as they hold their reunion..

They invite everyone to come visit with them.

Having a reunion at the festival is a great way to come home and renew acquaintances of old, and see a one-of-a-kind festival at the same time.

Former Emerson Mayor Joe Mullins (Class of ’64) who is also the chairman of the Million Tiller Parade, suggests classes consider entering a float in this year’s parade.

It’ll be a great time for all.
